Permissive Property Tax Exemption

Non-profit, philanthropic, and charitable organizations are eligible for Permissive Property Tax Exemption consideration.  Under the Community Charter,* the City of Merritt may grant a permissive tax exemption, at the discretion of council, subject to the City of Merritt’s budgetary constraints.
