Residential Utilities

Last updated on August 28, 2026

Residential utility bills are due twice a year.  They are sent out via mail, or email if registered, in mid-April and mid-October, respectively. Due dates are typically at the end of May or the end of November.

Register to Receive Utility Bills by Email

  • Click “Help/FAQ” on the top right, and follow the New User Guide.  If you already have an online account, follow the guide to add your email.
  • You will need your PIN (Personal Identification Number) from your account.  Obtain this from a previous invoice or contact City Hall.
  • Note: Selecting email billing will terminate your paper billing.  If you wish to resume paper billing after the Canada Post strike, contact City Hall to delete your online account.
  • Early payment discount is 10% for utility bills paid by the due date.
  • The City needs to receive the money by the due date. Please allow up to 4 business days for processing through your bank.
